Alicante, is located right on the Mediterranean Sea along the famous coastal strip of the Costa Blanca. The city is the largest in the province of Alicante and is the "capital", which means that here you will find everything you expect from a larger city by the sea - lovely beaches, fantastic food, shopping, and wonderful walks.
In just two and a half or three hours you will arrive from the United Kingdom to Alicante by plane. At the airport, it is easy and convenient to rent a car, or alternatively you can have your own car in long-term parking all year round. There are also airport buses between Alicante Airport and Torrevieja. If you prefer a taxi, there are always free cars on site.
Enjoy fantastic, long beaches as well as small and private beach areas. Here you will find townhouses and apartments, villas, and golf facilities with different types of housing for all buyers. With 320 days of sunshine, it's hard not to thrive here. Due to the mild climate, more and more tourists are opening their eyes to the Costa Blanca.

Arenales, here you live between Santa Pola in the south and Alicante in the north. It is just 10 minutes from Alicante Airport. The beautiful Carabassi beach is just a stone's throw away. If you follow Carabassi beach south, you will find the small coastal road that leads down to Santa Pola. Along this beautiful road, many Spanish families choose to find their own little bathing bay during the beautiful summer days. There are several golf courses in the immediate area. Alicante city is only a short drive away.

Gran Alacant, just 10 minutes from Alicante International Airport, is a popular holiday destination in the southern province of Alicante. Gran Alacant has been built around the green area of Cabo Santa Pola and the Carabassí beach. Las Dunas del Carabassí, is Gran Alacant's main beach with the blue flag certification, golden sand, and turquoise waters. This coastal area is extremely popular for kitesurfing and windsurfing and even paragliders have found their kingdom of heaven with a ridge that runs along the sea and provides the right winds.
The area between Gran Alacant and Santa Pola is very popular for joggers, cyclists, and others. There is no golf course in Gran Alacant but 20 minutes away by car you will find the Alenda Golf Club. The island "La Isla de Tabarca" is the only inhabited island and is located near Santa Pola. It is actually a small archipelago that includes the islands of La Cantera, La Galera and La Nao as well as Isla de Tabarca itself. Once upon a time, this was a haven for Berber pirates and in the 19th century, King Carlos III ordered that the island be fortified and a city of Tabarca built. A visit to the island is highly recommended and boats depart from both Alicante and Santa Pola. Gran Alacant has a Mediterranean climate all year round, with an average temperature of 18C degrees. Here you will find restaurants, bars, shopping centers, grocery stores, pharmacies, health centers, etc.

San Juan, Playa de San Juan is one of the most famous beaches around the city of Alicante. San Juan connects El Campello in the north with the city of Alicante. About 23,000 people live in San Juan. The proximity to the beach and the ease of getting to Alicante by public transport means that many people settle in San Juan but have a job in central Alicante. The long beach is lined with restaurants and bars. San Juan offers a fine golf course centrally located in the area. The climate, like the rest of the Costa Blanca, is very pleasant. Here is an annual average temperature of 19 degrees and 320 days of sunshine.
El Campello
El Campello
El Campello, is located just north of Alicante. You can easily get to Alicante by train, also called TRAM. El Campello is an old fishing village with 30,000 inhabitants and even today you can find fishermen sitting in the harbor where they fix their nets and take care of their haul. In the evenings there is a fish auction where the day's catch is sold. It is generally advised to visit one of all the fish restaurants located around the harbor and along the beach. The old tower in the harbor is the pride of the El Campello people. The watchtower is from the 16th century and was built to protect itself from the Berber pirates. Smoke signals warned other watchtowers along the coast. The Watchtower is an important part of Costa Blanca's history.
